Pálava

Pálava is a rare white wine from the Malé Karpaty, grown by Chowaniec & Krajčírovič. The grape itself was bred in Moravia in 1953, a crossing of Gewürztraminer and Müller-Thurgau.

Why It's Different
Most aromatic whites are either delicate and forgettable, or intense to the point of one-dimensional. Pálava manages the middle ground: real perfume and spice on the nose, with enough structure on the palate to stay interesting over a full glass.

Pálava is een zeldzame witte wijn uit de Malé Karpaty, verbouwd door Chowaniec & Krajčírovič. De druif zelf werd in 1953 in Moravië ontwikkeld, als kruising van Gewürztraminer en Müller-Thurgau.

Waarom Deze Wijn Anders Is
De meeste aromatische witte wijnen zijn óf delicaat en vergeetbaar, óf zo intens dat ze eéndimensionaal worden. Pálava vindt de middenweg: echte parfum en kruidigheid op de neus, met genoeg structuur op de tong om interessant te blijven over een heel glas.
