Why It's Different
Most Riesling on Dutch shelves comes from Germany, Alsace or Austria. This is the same grape grown on limestone soils in a wine-growing area documented since 1270, picked later than usual to trade some early acidity for depth and aromatic intensity, without tipping into a dessert wine.

Waarom Deze Wijn Anders Is
De meeste Riesling in Nederlandse schappen komt uit Duitsland, de Elzas of Oostenrijk. Dit is dezelfde druif, verbouwd op kalksteengrond in een wijngebied dat al sinds 1270 is gedocumenteerd, later geplukt dan gebruikelijk om een deel van de vroege zuurgraad in te ruilen voor diepte en aromatische intensiteit, zonder in een dessertwijn te vervallen.
