A late-harvest Riesling with peach blossom and linden flower on the nose, a fine mineral thread and bright acidity: precise rather than sweet, despite the extra hang time on the vine.

Rizling Rýnsky is a late-harvest Riesling grown by Chowaniec & Krajčírovič in Svätý Jur, where winemaking has been documented since 1270: before the Netherlands existed as a nation. The vines sit on limestone soils, ripening slowly under a cool continental climate.
Taste
Peach blossom and linden flower on the nose, with a fine mineral thread carrying through to the finish. Precise rather than sweet, with orchard fruit and bright acidity. Serve lightly chilled, around 8–10°C, in a standard white glass.
Pair It With
Seafood, roast poultry and aged cheeses.
Why It's Different
Most Riesling on Dutch shelves comes from Germany, Alsace or Austria. This is the same grape grown on limestone soils in a wine-growing area documented since 1270, picked later than usual to trade some early acidity for depth and aromatic intensity, without tipping into a dessert wine.
The Estate
Chowaniec & Krajčírovič has been farming these slopes since 2001, and the family that started it still runs it today. Pivotal Wines imports it directly: no distributor layers, no markup stacking, no compromise on what arrives in the bottle. Meet the estate →
Worth Knowing
Because production is limited, availability can vary by vintage. Pivotal Wines brings in what the estate produces each year, rather than guaranteeing a fixed annual supply.
