De meeste Chardonnay is een wijnmakerskeuze. Deze is een plek: verbouwd in de kalkstenen heuvels van de Kleine Karpaten ten noordoosten van Bratislava, gemaakt zonder eikenhout, zonder shortcuts, zonder franje.

Waarom Deze Wijn Anders Is
Het reputatieprobleem van Chardonnay lag nooit bij de druif: het was eikenhout dat de boventoon voerde. Deze fles laat het achterwege. Wat overblijft is koel klimaat, mineraal, dichter bij Noord-Frankrijk dan bij de tropische, gehoute stijlen waarmee de meeste Nederlandse drinkers zijn opgegroeid.
